I have the honour to address
on the subject of my Salary with a view to obtaining
quanting an increment to same, if possible.
I have been connected with this
Department for the past 14 years - as Assistant Engineer and Superintendent
of Crown Lands and Survey.
My Salary ranges from
$2280 to $3000 per annum, the latter
sum being allowed me on
appointment to the office of Superintendent of Crown Lands & Survey in 1891.
And I would
observe that the total increment to
my pay during such service
of
14 years
was
$144
